Factory Service Manual For an '01???

I'm getting ready to order off geno's and decided it would be a good idea to get a service manual i've always needed for my '01. As i scrolled through the list i noticed 2001 was the only year that they only offered a cd version and no book version. Just not crazy about paying 120.00 for a cd. Anyone know why this is? I wasn't sure where to post this so if this would work better somewhere else let me know. Thanks.

I don't know why they only offer the cd. I bought mine for my 2000 a lot cheaper off Ebay. Got the Service manual, and 3 diagnostic manuals all together for about half what Geno's wants for just the Service manual.

PM your email I'll see if i can sent you a copy of my digital one. Then if you want, you can spend 3 dollars on a ream of paper and print it out.

I looked in the back of my manual and it shows the page to fill out, tear out, and send in with $90.00...but this book is almost ten years old now so i don't know if this offer is still good. There is a toll free number to call. I will try it tomorrow and if it doesn't work i will call up some local dealers and see what they can do.

No, the offer is no longer good- Chrysler no longer publishes the 2001 on paper and they are sold out of them that's why Gino has CD only. If they had them they would be more than $90- dealers pay close to $400 for a new manual set as they come out.
Can get some deals on eBay but we have some years where I work- PM me and I'll see what I can find.

I just bought a new, never used set along with a new serpentine belt, a new Haynes manual and a new trans repair manual for a 100 bucks. The guy bought it all when he bought his '01 and never had to use them. Thought I got an OK deal.

I'd say you got a real good deal...just leaves the Hayne's on the bottom of the stack!

That's exactly where it's at although I have found them to sometimes (rarely) be more helpful than the FSM. Those FSM's (2 books) are biguns.

Very true...I'm still keeping my eye open for the book set. If anyone stumbles upon a set send me a pm.

I ordered a factory manual when I bought my 2001 new. I got a 2000 manual with a 2001 supplement that show the differences. It is a pain because you have to look in both manuals to be sure you have the correct info.
