Fabtech Double Shock mount
Today I got my Fabteck dual shock moutn installed. I like Fabtech's commitment to detail and strong parts. I had used there lift on a Ford pre-runner I did, and realy admirred the way they do things. So when I wanted to install a dual shock mount on the Dodge, I looked to them. Problem was they don't make one for my 3500 4x4, but they did make one for the 1500 4x4. So after a little investgating, I chose to go ahead and order the on for the 1500, and just "make it work". Again I was pleased with there product, very heavy and well thought out. The mount real fit with only a few slight modifications needed. It took me most of the day, but It installed and looks very nice. I went with dual ressivor shocks, and limiting straps, the whole package looks great. Hey, even my wife likes it. If anyone out there is interrested in this type of mount, The Fabtech fits with only a slight amount of modification, nothing extreem, and most would have no problems. The truck looks very nice and I am going to take some pictures and post them later. till then

Re:Fabtech Double Shock mount
Well I got the wheels back on and took it for a drive today, very nice. The clunk in the front is gone, and the bumps are so much nicer now. The truck gained about another 1-2" in front end height, so that will probally disapear when the winch and bumper get mounted. Everything so fsr is extremly positive, it turns nicer, and rides much better, and I can feel the extra height, when driving. I most have gotten 25 reactions from a 3-4 mile trip, it takes people my supprise seeing a dually this high and with the big shocks sticking out like that. If you have any questions feel free, and if you were considering the FabTech dual shock mount, go ahead it work great. Oh yel, it looks great to.
