F1 injector question
I know all of Dons injectors are great, but what I want to know is how much better will my truck run with a set of 2.5s over my jammer stage 3s, I will be upgrading to a HTB2 soon, will it be enough difference for me to really notice? with just sticks and my Catcher I did 289/687, im looking to make a clean 450 hp daily driven, Thanks

seems like to me you're going to need a wire tap box like an Edge Comp or a TST pm3 to get there and or a hybrid 35/40 turbo, Mach 4's and the Catcher to get to 400 hp with no wire tap. You're going to need something with quick spooling added air to make a "clean" daily driving 450 hp. Another option to get to a clean daily driving 450 hp would be BD twins with some of the aforementioned mods.

In my sig I have listed my TST COMP and CATCHER already installed, plus the stage 3 Jammers, Im trying to determine if I can get to clean HP goal by using my current combo with the Mach 2.5s, or if I should just leave my stg 3s in and dont worry about it, I dont see too many guys speaking on the 2.5s but heard they are a nice set of sticks.

There's not a huge difference in power between the two sets of injectors- 100 advertised for jammer 3 and 120 for mach 2.5. The difference would be in heat, smoke, and power and its tough to beat f-1's on any of these.

Thanks guys, there is a set in the classifieds and im getting money for mine so it might be worth it, for me I dont want maximum hp with poor driveability I want good running truck that isnt sooting from every stop light , so if it means running a smallish injector and having good manners on the street then im all for it, I would think that the F1s would put down more than the Jammers, and if so can I reach my target goal of 450hp, between selling mine and purchasing the ones listed I will be in for about $250 for the 2.5s.

Sorry about that....I missed that in your signature. I was just looking at what was listed in your post. I think the M2.5's would be a nice clean set of injectors and maybe even cleaner than your jammers you have now. I still think you may need to some air to keep it nice a clean. A HTB2 62-12 or a hybrid 35-40 might be nice for good spool and move enough air to burn your fuel......especially when your TST Comp kicks in. Maybe that is something to keep in mind for the future though.
On the M2.5's, I say go for it. Hard to beat the Mach injectors.
Good luck.

Tate running a set of jammer 2 and the smarty in a 99 1 ton five speed with a stock turbo. Wow do the jammers smoke. I was supprised how much the smoke that these small injectors rolled out. A edge box would have smoked less than the smarty. It woke up my truck abit as the power came in sooner than just running my comp box but it smoked way way worse. Your gonna get some more smoke but nothing to worry about. I would run a comp box before I would run the smarty. I ran 100rwhp and a comp box on a stock turbo. On 1X1, there was no smoke. On 5X5 you get a decent cloud of smoke.
