EZ Question

I just put an Edge EZ onthe truck, but don't have the conectors for the map sensor. It's for an 01 and mine is an 02. It does seem to be working though.

My question is, are the EZ's like the Comps where you can unhook the map sensor and it will still operate like you have it set on the lowest smoke control setting,IE more low boost smoke?

The TST will connect to the MAP sensor. The EZ will plug into the TST and the stock harness will be plugged into the EZ. This ensures that the TST sees actual boost and not the "fooled" reading from the EZ.

Also, if you don't hook the MAP sensor on the EZ up at all, I don't think it will work because it's not getting a boost reading. What you're thinking about with the Comp is plugging the stock harness into the Comp harness, but not connecting to the MAP sensor. In this way, the Comp is sending a full boost signal back to the stock harness making the truck think it is under full boost at all times.
