the ez, comp and juice all have timing built in. good luck finding out which one has how much timing, pretty tight as far as info goes!
i like the Smarty because the parameters are adjustable. just from my own experience in the last 6 weeks of commuting i get the best mileage with the Smarty on max timing and NO ez plugged in.

I ran both EZ and J/A, I cant say I saw much improvement in mileage, but it might have as at the time I was only running on level 4X4 I was not using level 5 if hardly at all. I had my truck flashed with a Smarty, just so I could get the hi-idle feature.....and the side effect was a noticable improvement in mileage, 2 days after the Smarty flash I did a 1130km hot shot, the truck also idled for 4hours at 1200rpm in minus 30C weather, and I was in 4 wheel drive for at least 400kms of that trip. and it cost me 135$ in fuel (fuel at the time was around .80 cents a liter), I dont know what I got for mileage, cause it was not a typical hi-way run, even in 4WD and with excessive idling, I still got better mileage than I ever did in the past 120,000kms I've put on this truck in the past 2yrs.
just my observation but it seems as most persons report better mileage when running higher performance levels vice the "economy" level.
I believe my stock programming must have been pretty crappy, cause ever since the Smarty download, my truck gets much better mileage than it did in the past
