EZ and 275's, good combo?

Time for more power! Is an Edge EZ and 275's a good combo for a 2001, 5 speed? Not after drag strip performance, just a little more power and torque. For towing and fun!. Will my cruise control still work good?
How much smoke? How much RWHP? Also how much RWHP do I have now, stock? All stock except BHAF and hi flo banjos, with FP guage and Pyro.
Next will be 4" system.
Thanks!
Robert

Stock power for 5 spd is 235 ponies. EZ and 275's are supposed to be a very nice combination with minimal if any problems. You should be close to 300 with that combo.

I have a buddy with the exact same combo and it is just nice for pulling his 5'er through the mountains. He has the stock exhaust and turbo and pulls down about 300 RWHP. I thought it was a good step.

The only problem was the clutch, it didn't last too long and slowly started to shudder under load. After the SouthBend it was clear sailing.

That is an excellent combo for what you are wanting. I have seen clutches take it for a long time and seen them fail quickly. The smoke can be a little heavy, depends on the foot. Go with the Comp if smoke is a concern.
