Extra Long Exhaust Tip Installed

Put a new 4" straight pipe turbo back exhaust on about a week ago and just yesterday, I had a tip welded onto the end. I don't like how with the 12" tips, you can see how the exhaust is really a smaller size, then at the end, there's just a few inches of this larger "fancy pipe". I guess I just feel like it isn't fooling anyone when you can clearly see that most of the exhaust is much smaller than the tip. So I found an 18" long 4" to 5" tip on Ebay for about $50 and had that puppy welded on. Goes all the way back to the last bend in the pipe and looks BEAUTIFUL. At least, I think it does.

Looks nice, I also dislike seeing where it clamps on.

I was just checking out the 6X18 tip in the DTR store night.

Really nice looking tip...

To bad I live out here in the mud country... I would ruin that nice chrome finish quick! But it gives me something to think about though...

Mine is stainless, and so far is holding up...

Phil, you're gonna want some mudflaps soon!! Even with my flaps, my tip gets coated pretty good....

Extra Long Exhaust Tip Installed

When I first read the title of this I thought you had figured out a way to clear the sidewalks of pedestrians.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I appreciate it. The rest of the exhaust IS MBRP. I didn't like the tip that came with that. Gonna try to sell it on Ebay. Anyway, the one I wound up with is stainless, and they also make one with a rolled lip, if you like that look better.

I have a rolled edge 6x18inch slant cut tip, and i love it. I think it looks sweet. Pic's in my gallery.

Not sure what MBRP exactly stands for, but it is the name of an exhaust company.

Well I'm not sure what the letters stand for, but MBRP is the company that made my exhaust.
