external wastgate
Hello, I'm running a ksb1 that spools great and is producing 50psi, but, I feel that it's choking the top end performance. My question is, would an external wastegate like the one pdr sales relieve some exhaust pressure so the turbo felt like it had a bigger exhaust housing on the top end, or would I be better of to buy a larger housing? Thanks

No substitute for a bigger housing/turbo. It is better to run a larger turbo at lower PSI than a small one at higher. The reason why is that the more air is compressed, the hotter it gets and efficiency for combustion goes down.
Kind of like having a big monster fan that is lazing along moving a lot of air versus a small fan going ***** out to move the same air. It's all about CFM (cubic feet per minute).
Just my $.02
