Ever seen the schied diesel pulling truck videos? That is why we need them.

My point was that we have a awesome design and i may be wrong but the 800+rwhp street trucks all have stock rods. The powerjokes need them because the dinky rods can't hold elevated cyl pressures and they window blocks. Just a thought but i think i will be able to hold it under 1600 hp so i don't think i will need a set of these.

Yeah I'm gonna buy my 1600 HP rods off of ebay from a builder with a hotmail email address who can't spell wrist pin.

They might want to advertise them a little differently, how many trucks are there out there over 600HP let alone 1000 more than that?

 

You don't believe they are high strenth aluminum?

 

The ONLY benefit to an aluminum rod is weight, and the only time you need that is high rpm racing.

I would NEVER drive an aluminum rodded car/truck on the street, unless it was a drag car in disguise. They require too much maintenance, as in replacing every so many miles, and 'so many' isn't in the 10's of thousands either.

Even a ford will be worse off with these.

Aluminum rods are not made for long life, just for light weight. I'd bet they will hold 1600 hp....and then after the run, you will have to replace them because they stretched.

look at the complete engine, thats a slick lookin twin setup but is it a good idea to have the filter directly on the bottom charger? makes it look clean though

 

Ya but guys they got a cool design on them and there shiney!!! Btw isn't $1600 a little much? like does the guy expect to get all of his expenses back in selling 1 set?

 

 

Does "schied" use thes rods?? cool concept, but the alummy rods are usually short lived, However, they wont do as much damage to a block if you run the m too long and one snaps..
