If your gonna go twins, its almost required. My ATS exhaust always came loose. I finally gave up and had to re-use the stock fastner and retainer clips on mine. You also have to torque the bolts up to factory specs and use high temp locite. I currently using a the stock manifold as I want to ceramic coat my ATS to cut down some of the heat. I think you need more fuel/power to really feel/see any difference from stock manifold to aftermarket.

In my opinion, it's an upgrade, if you want to and can afford it do it. The stock one on my old 98 12v truck I've had glowing red and so hot truck pulling that it almost looked like flames out of my stacks, and it never cracked. And if it does so what about a broken bolt, you could break one off replacing it before it cracks. So i'll wait until it cracks.

Interesting... Never had mine loosen up (still stock, no cracks) and I use high temp anti seize! kind of opposite from locktight!
