Exhaust temp reads high
I just got my new set of isspro ev gauges installed correctly, and the exhaust temp gauge reads high. At idle I see 400 degrees, I used to see under 300 with my auto meter gauges. Also i can get over 1300 degrees with the comp turned off and 1600 with the comp on 5 thats where i stopped. All boost pressures seem fine.

I would say that your gauge is not reading properly. THe 400 at idle pretty much gives that away. Depending on outside temp, I would expect it to be about 250 to 300. Either that or you have crazy retarded timing

My Autometer Sport Comp EGT gauge is mounted pre turbo and reads about 350* at idle in the summer but it will read 400* for a couple minutes of idling after a good romp...........300* in the winter seems to be typical for me.

I can hit 1250-1300 with my truck. Verified by 3 different gauges. My rooommate can only hit 1250 with mach 1.5's and an EZ. Idling in drive I see about 400*. Idling in park I see 300* give or take 50*.

Yes sir heater off When I start the truck in the morning it goes to 400 and that all the lower it gets. Im thinking that its something with the gauge because temps read way different than they did with my old auto meter gauges. I can hit 1400 before I get out of 3 gear with the box on kill and an air temp of 45 degrees.
