exhaust temp numbers

I just got my egt gauge hooked up in a new manifold 'old one cracked" and temps are spook'n me,350at idle. around 850 at about 55. Heres what is spook'n me, I was getting in it in third I can hit 1300 in no time with alot of peddle left. Same thing in fourth, went to pass a car in fifth and hit 1300 by 65. Does this sound right? The the egt gauge moves about as fast as the tach.
Boost hits 25psi and settles down to 22. Edge drag on level 1-3. BHAF 4in down pipe, 4in areoturbine to 5in stacks. stock injectors and turbo. Any ideals?

Need more air. Boost is low. May need a boost elbow, or boost fooler (assuming the Comp doesn't have one, which it may?).

You have more fuel than what my 12v truck had with just a #10 plate (which is only ~40hp more than stock), and could peg the 30# boost gauge.

If your thermocouple was after the turbo before, pre-turbo temp response is MUCH faster. My boost and EGT gauges race each other. lol

350* @ idle isn't too awful bad. Soe run higher than others at idle. Cruise temps seem a bit high, but depends on conditions.

Did you install the boost elbow that came with the Drag Comp? To gain full power from the comp, you'll need more air. Replace the stocker and it'll take you to 35 pounds.

Did you just install the pyro? When I installed mine, I started the truck, it quickly went to 400 degrees at idle, and just going down the road at 30 km/h, it was reading 1400 degrees. Going 60 km/h, it was pegged. I removed the gauge and in the harness connector, one wire was pushed out and wasn't making a good/any contact, and was giving a false reading. Might want to look for that, or pinched wires.

I did install the probe pre-turbo and the boost elbow that came with the comp and had a to reseat the plug in the back of the gauge. I started the truck and in 30 seconds it was at 1500, knew that wasn't right. It had wiggled out. I didn't want have to adds twins just this soon. I was hoping to get away with it till after I got new injectors.

your set up shouldnt require twins, your boost bumbers are low. You should be checking for a boost leak somewhere

Have done a boost leak test before and couldn't find a leak. Gonna do it again, but could the intercooler be stopped up to the point its not helping cool and restricting flow. What could i clean the internals with.
