Exhaust system question

On my 94 it looks like I have a catalytic converter and then a big honkin muffler on my stock(?) exhaust system. I want to buy the 4" megamouth down pipe, and then go the rest of the way back with MBRP T-304 4" system. Looks like I have a couple problems though. Is what I think is a cat actually a resonator? Also, it looks like the magamouth down pipe isn't 304 stainless. I'd like a 4" 304 stainless system all the way from the turbo back. I don't want a choke point at the turbo. Is the MBRP system 4" all the way up to the turbo? Maybe the megamouth elbow isn't all that anyway. Is there other options for a 4" 304 SS system I should look at instead?

Your 94 has a cat and the a huge round muffler, go get the MBRP and be done with it. Your HX 35 has a 3" outlet so don't worry about the turbo flange on the MBRP stuff. The downpipe is 3" and immediately transitions to 4".

Sounds good. So if I get a different tubo or twins in the future I could cut off the 3" part of my downpipe and make it work?

When you upgrade to twins or a bigger single you generally buy a new 4" downpipe and replace your.

How far are you from Darien?
