My friend and I both have 92 W350's. In 93 I built an exhaust for my truck out of 304 SS. It is still on the truck today. My friend put a 409 SS exhaust on his. It is Looong gone. To me the 304 is worth it. But we live in salt country were there is more salt on the roads than snow. That has a lot to do with it I think.

Hay Forest, for $260 bucks I can keep my stock exaust intact (on the shelf). If I ever trade it in or if "the man" gets tough on inspections I can put it back stock.

On the flip side I have 2 Edelbrock Victor 4 inch center in/center out mufflers. I thought about trying one out on the truck.

How would a semi muffler flow compaired to a good aftermarket one. I have one that has a hole on one end and another on the side. Does it matter which way they flow? I have a couple that have 4" on one end, and 5" on the other.

I'm running a DTT system. 3 winters, and the pipes are still looking good. I'd take a look at the new Borla diesel systems. I have a Borla system on my 89 gasser, and it has the sweetest sound.

I got lucky and stumbled across a MBRP 409 stainless. It only cost me $35.00 more then the alum coated steal off brand. It took some time to luck into this but was worth the wait to me. I prefer the stainless systems over the regular steal one. Even the cheap stainless should last twice as long.
