Exhaust Manifold
Looking to reduce egt's, can i get the same results from porting my stock manifold as i could from buying an aftermarket. If so what kind of reduction in temperature can you expect. Does anyone have a spare 24valve manifold laying around they might want to part with?

i might be completly off base here, but i dont know with as thin as the stock manifold is you really can afford to shave anyhing off. I think that the best bet for you would be to get a ATS and port it.

Just got my ATS put on a couple of weeks ago. Out of the box needed about 6 hours of TLC from me and my dremel. Much better than stock after working it over.
Not sure if I would want to go cutting on a manifold that has seen service though. I can't help but imagine the heat will have made the material more brittle.
