I have an '01 HO 6-speed 4x4 with 140k. It's stock and the exhaust needs replaced. Can anyone give me some ideas on a good inexpensive exhaust system? I don't really need stainless. 4" or 5"? Strait through or w/muffler? I've looked on ebay. There are so many that I'm looking for some suggestions.

Also, is there an inexpensive fuel box I can add? I have the stock clutch and don't pull anything very heavy. I've heard that they can help w/fuel mileage.

What is inexpensive to you? There are always EDGE EZ's an COMP boxes for sale in the classsifieds anywhere from $200 to $500 used. Take a look.

Check out Pinnacle Power exhaust systems. Relatively inexpensive, and lifetime warranty to you. Store here has good prices on MBRP if you prefer that brand. They are all within $50 bucks of one another if you purchase the same thing (aluminized single w/muffler).

Look for an EZ or Van Aaken V-5 box for a quick jump in power and inexpensive. Check the classifieds, keep on it for a few weeks, there is always one on there as once you get the bug, you'll be upgrading it to a larger box soon.

I got the aluminized 4" with muffler. great sound, not too loud but nice powerful sound, Nice easy install. The fit was great, good price too.
As far s boxes go Samrty is a great programmer It has a setting just for mileage plus more setting for performance also a code reader. Edge EZ work great too and can be found pretty inexpensive in classifieds and on e bay. I have also hear good things about the Quadzilla boxes.
