I put the Jacobs on my truck over a year ago, and it works great...it would feel strange to me to drive the truck without it. IMO if you tow, you NEED one. My only regret is that I wish I would have got an inline, so I have more turbo options like Infidel said.
There's a couple pics in my gallery of it. Now go buy one for yourself as a Christmas present Ooops did I say Christmas? I meant holiday....LOL Those stoopid people

I sell and install the de-celerator from US Gear and have had great luck with them. I installed a Jacobs brake saturday for a friend, and for the trouble they are, I'll stick to the US Gear. All e-brakes work well, I just don't like the brake hanging off the turbo. Like Bill said, I can do any work to my turbo's and never effect the brake. Plus, the wastegate is a nice way to vent the excess exhaust pressure away from the exhaust valve springs.

And you do need the 60 lb springs for the 4" brake. It will cause enough backpressure to seep past the exhaust valves. And that ain't good no matter what brake you get.

I perfer the inline brake for ease of installation and it's out of the way for any work under the hood. Also, no vacuum hoses to concern yourself with.

Also on the lockup switch, just install a simple one yourself and be done with it.

Well i must be talking about the CTD, although the exhaust brake would be kinda cool on my jeep.

I think if you were talking about a jeep, you would 't be on here with it. This just ain't the place.
