Re:Exhaust brake wanted
Jacobs has one but if you got a slushbox check before buying.
I heard they are not wanting warrentee the 48re with an E-Brake.
Even if it's dealer installed.

I have a Pc-Brake and love it! best addition on my truck so far. I have an automatic so I went with a tranny that could handle it an ATS upgrade. Heavy duty exhaust valve springs and an Emjay Strategy controller to keep the TC locked up when decelerating.
Wish I had gotten one years ago.

Re:Exhaust brake wanted
I think that 95+% of people with an exhaust brake will say that it was money well spent & that they would never again be without one. If you do any kind of towing, especially in hills or mountains - you'll love it. Just set your cruise and enjoy.

Re:Exhaust brake wanted
I've got the PacBrake. Significant inprovement in engine braking, especially in higher RPM range. Working alone, it took me about 3 1/2 hours to install using air tools as required. Don't know what it would be like on an auto truck.
I got mine at Camping World. With the Presidents Club discount, it was the best price I found without working too hard.
Good Luck!

How much was it?
I'm looking at a Jacobs - primarily because the local dealer sells them for $675, but I might consider a PacBrake if I could find one cheaper than that.
