Exhaust Brake and Twins

Anyone running an Exhaust brake AND twins???

Besides the obvious problem of finding one to:
A. Mount on a big turbo .... OR
B. Mount downstream of bottom charger

Are there any other problems, or things I should think about???

I have that 4" De-Celerator listed in my sig, but if I'm goin' twins, I'm goin' big with 5" pipes.

What am I missing??? Thanks In Advance
Chris

BTW....Here's a link to the New PacBrake PRXB design, even available in 5".

EDIT: Here's a link to the Product brochures for the 4" and 5" Brakes....For some reason, Pacbrake's server is down, so I hosted the ones I downloaded a while ago

The new PacBrake is like the BD brake, it uses a moveable flapper instead of having an orifice for backpressure control. Makes it work better at low RPM.

Every truck that I've heard of with twins and an exhaust brake put it inline like youre contemplating. I can't imagine there being any "issues" with doing it that way.

Signature,

Looking at your signature with the fueling you are running there really shouldnt be the need to run 5" exhaust . 4" is going to be plenty for what you are running. This is going to save you some money on an exhaust brake. We sell lots of our 4" remote brakes for guys using twins. Downstream doesnt really change the performance of the brake it just takes about 1 second to build the pressure.

Who says there's not more in the works ...

Sorry I forgot that part, but I do have more stuff planned, and I only want to do this once.

I've talked to Rip Rook about the exhaust, and through the conversation, he told me of his 613RWHP rig with twins and 5" exhaust. He couldn't stand the noise, so he went down to 4", and only lost 10HP. Why would going too large be much more of a change??

Besides, the outlet of my charger is 5" so why not? I got a good enough deal on that De-Celerator I can sell it and probably recoup my cost.

Thanks Again Guys,
Chris
