And if I feel the need to shut it down for a second or when I plan on stopping, the switch is right at my finger tip mounted on the shifter. I dont really see where it gets much easier than that. The feature I do like that you mentioned is the water temp warm up to 150*. The Pacs for the 3rd gens offer that. Ihave to say I dont like the auto shut off at 25 mph, because I still am using mine under that speed just to slow empty and I have gone down some steep hills with a heavy trailer in 2nd. Thats would be under 25 mph. Oh yea, forgot to mention, you delay seems like a long time. I have checked mine several times and 1.5 to 2 seconds max.
I could be wrong on the speed cutoff. It may be slower. As for the idling at stop signs with the brake engaged, it just makse too much noise.

Well I did it.
I bought the jacobs from mopar. So far I love it The dealer I bought it from said that the book called for 4 hrs installation but I got 'er done in 3. My only concern is when it told me to un-plug the ECM there is a VOID STICKER on it but since it is a mopar branded jake and the instructions said to do it, it should be fine, right
Thanks for all the replies. You guys are great.

I wired the old two speed rear end switch into mine on the gear shift. Most people think this looks cheesy but I like it and that's all that matters.

Did you get your truck used? The only time I have heard of any VOID stickers anywhere on a truck is because the dealer saw something that they thought voided the warranty and they slap one of those stickers on what ever it is.

Interesting, I have never heard they did that. There wasnt one on my truck. I only thought the void sticker was for after the fact.

My truck had the "VOID" stickers at delivery, but since the dealer installed the Jacobs e-brake (it was part of the deal when I ordered the truck), if it's torn, that's DC's problem. The e-brake is covered by the truck's warranty.
