Exhaust Brake: Jake Vs PacBrake Vs Others?

So I have decided the next upgrade for my truck is going to be an Exhaust Brake. I don't know too much about the manufactures and their +'s and -'s, I don't want to make the mistake of choosing the wrong one or one with problems or an inferior performer, since they are a little pricey. Basically if I'm going to spend the money I want to get the best one but since I know nothing about them other than how they work and how awesome they are, I just wanted to get some feed back so I could make an educated decision. If anyone had any input it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks All

P.S. I have a 5spd

pacbrake is air operated, so you get a 150psi electric driven air compressor with the kit and a 1/2 gallon tank. the air is useful for other things like horns, filling inner tubes for the kids, etc. the compressor is only on when it is needed. it is what i have had on my rig for 2 years now. no issues. install is straightforward and the directions are very clear.
jacobs is vacumm operated, so there is a belt driven vacumm pump included, which is turning anytime the engine is running, whether the brake is applied or not= constantly wearing. i have not used one, nor installed one so cant comment on that aspect.
there is the bd and usgear brakes.

I have 2, a banks brake that works like all the others and I just got a US gear brake (waste gated)it is by far a stronger working brake ...It pulls all the way down to idle were the others need RPMs to work. and cost $900 buck and change.

I've had my BD turbo mount brake for about 5 years now. Have had zero problems with it so far.

It just limits your choices if your going to upgrade turbos that's all.
