everything's stock...so....3k GSK????

is the 3k GSK a good 1st mod??? how will my driving change?? my shifting?? will i be able to get torque multiplication since i should now be able to reach the TC stall speed will full fueling??

GSK's also alter the fuel curve... may want to slide the plate forward a little when you do the GSK. but it's a great mod, especially for a 160 pump!

really?? they aletr the fuel curve?? how...im a newbie to this...peak torque will come later?? or what happens....will it shift later too?? cause right now it shifts at like 1700rpm

Yeah, it moves the torque higher in the RPM range.

Mine used to hit HARD at 1700, now it's up around 2250, but my advanced timing also moved it up too, so I'm not exactly sure where yours would end up.

thats interesting...i dont haul or tow anythign with it...its just my daily driver and i take it pretty easy on the truck ...hmm...peak torque at 2300rpm? and whats our TC stall speed like 2400rpm?? that would make it much better to drive no??

I think it would make a great first mod!! If you want more power afterward you can, as suggested, slide your plate forwardand it will help. Do a search on 3 gsk it is AWESOME!!!! just my .002 good-luck

the lever arm moves up the fuel plate slower, so whatever curve you've got gets "stretched"

grind the plate and no more curve

sounds pretty good...how will it shift?? will the shift points change??...i mean how will i reach thoise rpms? do i gotta floor it?? or will i only reach it in 3rd locked up?

be careful turning anything on the truck up too much....I didn't see any gauges in your sig and with 120K your converter is thinking of retiring as well (they like 75K pensions). It only takes 40 or 50 extra horse to make the clutch slip, then your trans gets all stuffy. I learned the hard way....

Give her some gauges FIRST, then at least a converter. My engine's mild by most standards and it took less than a month to finish smokin the trans/converter. But that's what it took to convince the general to let me spend the $$$ on a replacement!!

Oh......and beware, once you start down the road, there is no return!! Only your wallet or wife will decide when enough HP is enough.
