i have read that these engines will sometimes "lope" at idle with 150+hp injectors, but it seemed it was aimed towards the extrude honed not the EDMs. Im interested in what others have to say.

sorry i couldnt be of more help, Pat

Is it a miss or a lope? Maybe your injection pump is trying to tell you something. I'd have the injectors tested and see what they pop off at.

Do you have stock tubes, or oversized ones? If you have oversized, try putting stock ones back in.

I would go back and make sure everything is tight. Air seeping in from a loose connection is a bad thing. If you didn't have the pop pressure checked and set you need to do this. My jammer5's idle smooth as glass. Don's injectors are good, but, don't let these other guy's make you think they're the only thing out there, cause there not.

thanks, yes i had them pop test before they sent em out, they were popping off high 4500 i think? but he got a shim kit and got it down to normal pressure. It stutters under acceleration when i turn the comp box on too. Im gonna get down to the shop next friday. Now sleds this is my first time so maybe i have a loose connection. the only possible think that could be loose is the injector line nuts, im gonna go out and check em. OBI- these are stock tubes. Sleds, shoot me a PM, id like to talk to ya sometime about these.
Your soot-shootin' buddy,
Mike

You'd see a puddle of diesel under the truck when you park even if there's a slight leak. I have slight leaks (~4" puddle when I park overnight) and zero troubles with 223 hp injectors lopey or idling funny. Of course, mine are name brand injectors configured for my truck in Texas. I think you get what you pay for- IMO. Did the injectors flow within a percent of each other when tested?

Hey sleds the highest i got my pyro up to was 1300 on a long hill, comp level 1. on a flat stretch today 0-100 comp 5x5 i got it up to 1194* is that crazy or what.....maybe my pyros broke heheh.
