Engine Brake ON a Dodge?
Is there any other Cummins engine with nearly the same head as we got? I looked on Jacobs website and it goes by CPL# and our truck is 2098. it goes from 2097-2099. and both of those are m-11s. So if there is one that is semi the same then we'd try and get an exhaust brake and with straight 6" stacks that sound AWESOME on a pickup.

It would take a fuel injector lobe on the camshaft. Class 8 truck engines with engine brakes have fuel injectors that are run off the cam, when the engine brake is engaged, the injector lobe also opens the exhaust valve. Releasing the compressed air at TDC is what makes the loud "BWAAAAAT" noise.
