Going from the stock lift pump to the Airdog, I felt as there was more power. I did notice, smoother idle, easier starts, and yes more black smoke. I get a steady 30psi at idle to WOT.

Its pretty easy. your injector return line is 3/16". You need to get from 3/16" to 5/16".
The overflow valve return line is 5/16".
Just cut the banjo off of the injector return line and throw it in the trash. Re-use the steel line. The 3/16" comp.x 5/16" barb will go on there.
Put a 6" piece of 5/16" diesel hose on there with a 5/16" tee.
Cut off the overflow valve banjo and put the 5/16" comp. x 5/16" barb on there and connect it to the 5/16" tee with about a 20" piece of 5/16" hose.
Out of the 5/16" tee, send the 5/16" hose back to the tank.
It might be confusing to you, but I am a Union pipefitter so it makes perfect sense to me.
