I have 191 dvs and 370 injectors with no plate and no afc and the egts only run 1000*, the pyro probe is mounted before the turbo also.... Any ideas?

make sure that the probe tip is in the middle of your exhaust stream and not touchig anythig. other than that could be many things. do you have a stock charger? if so you might just be putting the fire out with that much fuel.

That thing should be just about undrivable as far as egt's go. I would bet you have some issue with the gauge or the pyro itself? You will know if you are simply putting out the fire because you will not be able to see in front opr in back of you! look at the gauge itself....

If it is any help to ya, mine will peg 1500* pretty easy in a good hard run through 3rd gear with stock injectors. You have some kind of problem with your gauge it sounds like.

what kind of smoke doesit make? Have you checked your fuel pressure? Do you have a GSK, and lastly is the shutdown opening all the way? heck I make over 1000 just getting up to speed with traffic.

It makes a lot of smoke. I'm not sure about the fuel pressure, but the lift pump is new and i have a fass pushing it. I took the shutoff selinoid off and used a cable. NO GSK yet. With the old turbo it was out of control with the EGTS i could burry the guage so i don't know maybe i'll ajust the cable just to make sure, but i can feel the difference when i put the DV's in?

but still shouldn't be enough to keep him under 1000. and here's a question? why not just bypass the stock LP since you have a fass?

The HX40 does push the air but i only have around 33psi. And i bypassed the pre-filter cause the fass pressure blew it apart where the plug is on the front of it so i'm kinda afraid if i bypass the lift pump it might hurt something else!? Unless someone else has done it and if so does it cause any long term problems with no LP?

I run an Airdog. I have taken all of the factory junk off. It goes from tank to airdog to injection pump to injectors back to tank.

What about the filter on the block behind the Injection pump do you still have that?

Nope. All the stock junk is gone.
Tank to Airdog w/filters to injection pump to injectors back to tank. The injector return line and the Overflow Valve return line are teed together and then it goes back to the tank.
You can use a 2 hole Chevy fuel pump block off plate with a stock cummins lift pump gasket to cover the lift pump hole.

I used 5/16 diesel hose for the return line. You will need a 5/16" barbed tee. A 3/16 compression x 1/8"npt fitting with a 1/8"npt to 5/16" barbed fitting for the injector return line. I then cut the banjo fitting off of the overflow valve line and used a 5/16" compression x 3/8"npt with a 3/8npt brass coupling with a 3/8"npt x 5/16" barb. You will tee the two together and return it to the tank.
If you want I could get som pics tomorrow.
I also bought everything from menards.
