EGT's????
I couldn't wait to get gauges in the dually even though I should have. Moved the stock plate full forward, adjusted the star wheel to where I get a mild puff when I shift.
Anyone ran like this with an EGT gauge? How were your temps? Should I worry?
I'm not towing, and right now it's just trips to town when I feel like driving it.
With a #10 plate in stock position, I don't see a major problem with EGT's in my 2500 so that was my rationalization for doing it, now I'm wondering.

In my 95, I slid the stocker full foward and it made a big difference. If I remember right, I don't think I could get the temps much over 1000 deg, if that. I can't really remember, though, I made so many exhaust changes and have so many EGT #'s floating in my head that I cant quite place them.
I should be close though .

You should be quite safe with that setup. My 94' wouldn't run over 1000 degrees with that setup. I got guages pretty early and I found that with my 94' temps didn't become a problem until I installed 191 DV's and 300 marine injectors. I had a #10 plate full foreward.
