Take a look at all my mods in my sig...

Now, when i have the Smarty on 8, and the Comp on 5x5, and i go for a WOT run, i can peg my 1600 degree pyro..
Also when i have my water meth on with 35% meth mixture and the gain set to 100% and both the big nozzles in.. i can still hit 1500 degrees on a WOT run, and i know the water meth is injecting, because the temps don't climb quite as fast, but still climb nonetheless..

With my current Turbo, do you think i just have too much fuel, and not enough air ? what can i do to tame my EGT's other than turn stuff down or go to twins?

 

Something like a phat shaft 64 or 66 would cool better up top. Sounds like youve got a lot of fuel on that setup.

 

Try turning the Smarty down to number 4 or 6 and see how it runs, I suspect you'll see a small reduction in egts. I see 1550 in the 1/4, so I would say you're not above normal.. Some of the heat you are seeing is from burning fuel in the manifold.
