EGT hauling with EZ and 275s

Ok, let me ask this differently. Can anyone with a similar set up give me some feedback on what EGTs they see: 55-65 mph on level ground; 6000# trailer; RV 275s, Edge EZ, 4" exhaust, BHAF? I am seeing 14-1600 which I think is way too high to be true for this setup.

Thanks

I haven't hauled but about 4k snce I intalled the 275's, but highest I've seen is about 1100*, and that was floored on acceleration. Highway, no grade, at 65/70 it was about 750/850*. The EZ was on the #2 setting.

What kind of boost #'s are you getting? I was at about 30/32 psi at WOT. Your might want to check your turbo and intercooler hoses.

Boost is good (33 PSI at WOT). I just went out and did another run with the trailer (4500 #). Highest I could get was about 1050. I think I had a loose connection . I think it is good now .

Thanks

I basically had the same setup as you except I had the
Van Aaken instead of the EZ. Towed a 7000# travel trailer
up to Tahoe and Reno around 6800 ft. Never went over 1100 egt
Now with the Smarty instead of the Van Aaken , I towed the same
trailer to Yosemite 6800 ft. and never got over 1200 egt's.
