EDM Injectors on order

EDM Injectors on order
I ordered a set of Don M's EDM 80 hp injectors & Wildcat maximum flow system today. I'll order a Di-procol FP gauge when I return the injector cores. I plan on getting the Scotty 2 before summer. I'll probably have to order a SB Con OFE as well. I want to see how the clutch holds up with just the EDM's, then I'll put the EZ back in.

Re:EDM Injectors on order
Well, you'll love the EDMs, but you are gonna need the EZ to have a boost fooler. If you revert to stock boost (remove the elbow) you'll get massive EGT issues. If you leave the elbow on the truck will defuel when it senses too much boost , and throw a code, so you won't see too many benefits.
I love my EDMs and my box

bwat4,
All I can say is "Enjoy The Ride!" Don M's injectors are really controllable smoke wise and the torque output is really something.

Re:EDM Injectors on order
Short version:
Remove valve cover, intake horn, APPS holder.
Loosen hp fuel line nuts in head, remove hp line holders of the lines you work on. Pry connector tube out of cyl. head with screwdriver about 1/2". Remove holding screw from injector (only touch the exhaust side screw!) and remove injector holder ( slip out) Take valve cover bolt and pull injector with it. Put in new injector (take care that there is exactly 1 copper washer per inj.) Reassemble rest.
Try to start, will take time due to air in injectors, leaving at least 1 nut will help. When running carefully check for leaks, CAUTION!! high pressure diesel spray can get under your skin and is very unhealthy!!.
Take truck for a spin and smile ;D
