Edge vs. Superchip

I deal mainly with one diesel shop, so I have never had the luxury of getting an opinion from anyone else. I have a Superchip tuner now, would a Edge Comp be better for my truck? I read a post earlier about piercing the wire. Not sure what that means, but if it is more power, then I will go the Edge direction if this is not an option with my Superchip.

Yes.

Edge boxes have built in boost foolers which the superchips program is lacking.

Comp will net more power, and is adjustable and you can turn it completely off if the need arises (smog check).

The comp attaches to the Data bus and the Map sensor, in this mode acts like an EZ which should get you about, if not a little more power than your superchips.

It also attaches to a wire on the VP44, connecting directly to the solonoid which meters the fuel pulse, netting you much more power and the adjustability.

But?

I am running a torque enhancer box already, so will I really gain anything by switching to the Edge? I can turn the torque enhancer box on and off from inside the cab.
