Cool Edge, stacked with what!!???.......

I'm buying an Edge Juice with Attitude, and am looking for another cheaper chip to stack with it to put out more smoke! You have any suggestions on other chips to use with the Edge, or another idea for more smoke. I'm trying to stay as cheap as possible though. thanks

I would say definately say a Smarty! But they aren't exactly cheap, but you'll love it!

Ok, LOTS of smoke? I'm trying to pour it out. How much is the smarty? Where can I find one? Is it going to be ok with the Edge, will I have to replace the fuel pump? I'm trying to not do that, but I may have to. thanks!

They have the Smartys in the DTR store. You can run the Smarty with an Edge. Just run it on even #'s(without timing). Do you have gauges? If not, you NEED a fuel pressure gauge! I would suggest a big line kit.

Yeah, I'll have gauges with the Attitude Monitor, fuel pressure is in there. So I just need to run them on even power levels? Have you found a cheap big line kit? How much and where? thanks..

You can try the vulcan big line kit which can be found at vulcanperformance.com, Geno's, or ebay =P You can also relocate the pump from the block down to the frame with these kits.

For smoke try injectors

If you can turn wrench, a little bit at least, a set of edge jammer 3's will give you more smoke, and power for the money than a smarty. If you tow, I wouldn't run bigger than the jammer 2 nozzle though. 3's can be had anywhere from 200 - 250 bucks on ebay. Smarty = 600 bucks, lots of smoke, but not as much as injector nozzles mounted on your stock injector bodies.

If you plan to keep upgrading your truck, I would wait on the injectors and such, and beef up your drive train first. Juice w/attitude turned up will slip most stock drive trains and spin stock tires pretty easy!

I appreciate the help with this. I am looking at tuning up the drive trian. I'm not looking to really race my truck, it's usually for hauling and an occassional show off. Do you know any chips that don't neccesarily do anything for power but are more directed to fuel mileage? I was thinking about stacking with the Juice another chip for mileage only and alternate between the two, or use both at once. What do you think about that? thanks

What is it about running two chips at the same power levels and put out more smoke than one of them on the highest level? I still don't quite understand that.

Don't go crazy trying to stack boxes- the juice does fueling and timing so you don't need another one, but a smarty would be fun. Try the lower levels on the juice for better mileage =P

Well the only reason I ask is I have someone I know who bought one chip specifically for power, and another one only for mileage. He pulls a 36' GN loaded to about 28K# He can haul it going about 70mph and is getting 32 mpg!!! He only had those two chips and a 4" straight pipe! I was shocked. I can't get ahold of him to find out exactly what chips he used for that. That's why I was askin, to see if anyone had done that or knows what chip would be good for it.

I don’t know man but I have a real hard time believing
That he is pulling a 36ft trailer with a 28k load on it running 70mph and getting 32 miles to a gallon. Either he is bad at math or he is fibbing to you.
