edge juice w/ attitude cutting out

could it be a bad/dirty connection on one of the other plugs. if you notice a change in engine sound it could be the timing which i believe is affected by one of plugs on the edge. i cant remember exactly where the edge plugs in (been a while since i messed with an overvalved motor) so i might be way off with this.

1693 is a code that says.. Hey you have a code. Its a companion code that pops up with everything. Really wierd there isnt another code to back it.
Just like everyone else said, Check all your connections. Could easily be MAP/APPS acting up. New one from TIMBO isnt too bad a price.

guy i work with has a juice w/ attitude on his 2000 24v. i should be able to switch his juice module into mine and see if the module is the problem right?

i really dont think its the chip cuz i took it out and put my edge ez in instead and it still did it. could it be a fuel issue? talked to one guy and he wondered if it was a fuel return issue.

I had some weird things going on with mine so I changed those cheap connections with good adapters and it has been working fine. It still cound be in the wiring.

Edge problem
Hey there I just had the same with an edge comp HOT box. In fact it has been an on going problem with Edge and me since 2007. I have an 2002 Cummins HO. What we have found for sure is in cold climates like winterpeg manitoba, the tech from Edge is telling me that they have tried to design the units to be able to handle the extremes but hey its electronics nothing is guaranteed he tells me. After 4 **** years of shipping my unit back and forth for them to only tell they bench tested it and all is OK. Come on!!!. Now they want to replace the entire unit with a Edge juice with attitude for 150.00. I am really hesitating with this. Is it going to be that crap all over. I am a real pro on removing these units by the way. LOL

cant speak for the edge comp, but my Juice with attitude has no issues in the cold of edmonton Alberta,
150$ to upgrade is pretty cheap considering that an edge juice is 800$ plus locally
