My fathers '99 has an edge juice with attitude and he's in the market for a new VP44. We read about the Blue Chips pump but I'm to the understanding there will just be too much timing altogether. If this is the case, should we just go with an Industrial Injection or some other brand of reman? If anyone has tried a Blue chips and Edge combo, I'd like to hear about it.

Make sure your lift pump is upgraded. Edge J/A has digital gauges but you can run another fuel psi gauge just to be on safe side.

 

The truck has a Fass system on it now

 

From my understanding, you should be OK with a regular VP44 from Blue Chip. I believe it's only their "Special" pump that has additional timing that may not work well with the Edge.

 

yeah the regular pump has the same timing as a stock pump the special x pump has advanced timing and i would be cautious about running a box with it. I bought my vp from a guy that used to work for blue chip and started up on his own and i have n edge juice and it has been fine. just make sure you get a stock replacement pump not a hopped up one.
