Edge Juice Problems

Here's the story.... Truck quit on, the injection pump went out. Put a new vp-44 on, starts up just fine, runs fine, but went to shut off and truck will not shutoff unless you tap the accelerator pedal. Unpug edge box and everything is fine. I even tried unplugging it from the the pump, but then it does the same thing, not shutting off unless tapping accelerator pedal. Took for a drive with everthing hooked up, runs like stock with no problems but but edge juice does not add no power. Anyone got any ideas? Edge box junk?

I keep the cold weather protection on mine at all times. Just to be safe.

I would agree on leaving the cold engine protection on unless its not cold in the morn. Friend of mine blew the head gasket when he started getting on it with it turned all the way up and not have the truck up to right temp.
There's a reason why they put it on there.

The only reason Mine comes off is if it has been running for a while but wont warm up all the way and I'm at the dyno or track.
