I assume you mean not haviong the stock injectors pop tested? sure you can but while you've got them out and putting on new tips why not get them tested nice piece of mind that what your putting back in is workign the way its suppose to.

Anyone know what a normal shop charges for a pop test on injectors? What if they need adjustment, what does that cost?

I don't know what the price is, but I know a lot of people who have changed nozzels (including me) that have have not had them tested and they run fine. It's not a bad idea to have them tested though.

the shop i talked to, said the pop test was free and if they had to add shims to them it was $18 a piece IIRC.

Yep, theres always a hidden cost. I got Stage 3 nozzles and just threw em' in, only notice a little bit when idling in park, but other than that they work great. I shoulda just went with the full injectors .

Nope, didn't take them in. I've been waiting for about 4-5 months to do it and I had the time to do it Monday so I said lets put em' in. Truck runs pretty smooth goin down the road. Only in park I feel a little romp here and there.

I have been running jammer 5’s for about 1.5 years never had them pop tested and never had a problem out of them. I have notices that the jammer nozzles do give a ruff idle to a lot of trucks.

So, has anyone pop tested their nozzles and not had them within stock limits? What percentage of nozzles are not ok to slap nozzles on?

They wanted $27 to hook it up to a pop tester, do a couple of pumps and record the readings!? I guess I need to buy a pop tester!!!
