Edge EZ question

When you purchase one of these they give you a replacement boost elbow with a metered hole in it but they say that it will work just as good with or without it what is the purpose of it then, because I would think that if you are able to build more boost without the wastegate opening than that turns into more power right?? Re:Edge EZ question

The boost elbow does create most boost to help control high EGT's while towing or hotrodding ;D ;D
My boost went from 19 psi to 30 psi with the EZ and 275's. 8)

Re:Edge EZ question

I dont know how the '04's are but I know that some year auto's (with the HY35) couldnt use the boost elbow. They had to use the turnbuckle or Turbo Master. But if it can be installed on yours then definatly install it. The extra boost will result in lower EGT's and yes the truck will run better. Edge said the same thing to me but it ran way better with the elbow.

Re:Edge EZ question

The 2001 auto's used the hard boost line. Most people with these trucks (myself included) had to use the turnbuckle method which basically accomplishes the same thing.
