Edge EZ, AFE Megacannon, 4" Exhaust ???

Hi all, I just got an Edge EZ, before that I got a 4" Turbo-back exhaust system, and before that an AFE Mega cannon. I really haven't had a noticeable increase in power from any of them. From what I read about the EZ it was like "WOW", but I really didnt see it. I am not pulling anything. Anybody else have these things and "really" noticed it?

I do like the turbo sound that the AFE lets thru and the 4" Exhaust sounds pretty tuff. But I was really expecting something drastic from this EZ.

Do I need to be pulling a heavy trailer to see any improvements?

Let me know guys, thanks in advance.

Fafa

You might be expecting too much. Drive it for a few more weeks, then take the EZ off. Then let us know if you see a difference.
You might want to check the jumper setting as well. Usually comes at 3, but may be at 1 or 2. I didn't notice how many miles on your truck, but if it has been unloaded most or all of the time, pull a max load for 500 miles or so and let the engine work.

Mike

I thought mine was a pretty good improvement. Have you checked you fuel pressure lately? Low pressure will lower power levels.
Re:Edge EZ, AFE Megacannon, 4" Exhaust ???

I felt a big improvment in my 2001 auto. when I put the EZ on. The main reason I got the EZ was for towing. I was geting ready to change from a 3:55 to a 4:10 rear-end to pull my travel trailer better. I decided to try the EZ first, it made enough diference that I did not change the gears. Mine feels like a hot rod and has surprised a lot of people with the power and how fast it is leaving stop lights.

Bill

My comp in EZ mode is a BIG difference. Check your fuel pressure. I noticed a HUGE increase in power.

First check the jumper setting.

If it is set correctly then remove the EZ and then I bet you will notice the difference.

Check your Fuel Pressure, & also I noticed I lost a bunch of power by putting a qt. too much of oil in the engine, got rid of it & it runs super again.

DRecu!
