Edge EZ adapters

Hey all,

I bought an Edge EZ from Ebay. The seller said that it was for a 2001, but when I go to install it, none of the cannon plugs are right. Did he not send me adapters that are supposed to come with it?? Where can I get some of these adapters? I looked at some websites that advertise for the edge products, but no mention of adapters. The 2001 has a flat three prong for the Data Link Connector; the edge box that I have has a triangle three configuration. Any help will be helpful@!!

Give Edge a call on Tuesday (most likely closed tomorrow), and they'll send you an adapter.

The adapters may only be half the problem. If the Edge is for a 1998.5-2000, the voltage levels are different than for the 2001-2002 modles.

How do I know this? I bought an Edge EZ for my 1999 from Ebay and come to find out that it is for the 2001-2002 models. Edge informed me that the wiring harness is different (obvious) and the voltages are different.

If the box you have is for a 1999, let me know. Maybe we can swap boxes.

If you've got a triangle data link connector, the box is definitely for a 98.5-2000, and since the MAP sensor voltages are different, the boxes will not work on 2001 - 2002 trucks.
