Will unpluging the map sensor on the ez work like unpluging the comp?

so i can expect more power on low end if i unplug the map?

give it a shot...it should feel a little snappier.

 

I am going to try soon as i get of work!!!

 

i wired it up on mine so that its on a sort of high/low beam switch on the floor so when i want it to roll I stomp the left foot first then the right haha! another little tap and it doesnt smoke any more! tada! haha but it'll leave a great cloud

Well i tried it out and it didnt work! The truck ran like stock.

 

sure it was the MAP and not the data link?

 

Im pretty sure. It is the rectangular plug near the top driver side of the motor. Am i doing this correctly?

Yeah thats the one. It returned my truck back to stock when unpluged.

 

did you unplug the sensor itself or the plug coming from the ECM? you only want to unplug the sensor, keep the EZ plugged to the ECM.

 

I dont really uderstand you have any pics?

 

on a stock truck you have a plug coming from the ECM that plugs to the MAP sensor. the EZ splices into that, one part connects to the ECM plug and the other part connects to the MAP sensor. you only want to unplug the EZ from the MAP sensor.
