Edge Drag COMP, or TST PM3???

I have a regular Edge COMP sitting in the garage and was trying to sell it in order to get a TST PM3 to stack with my Smary... Which would be better in yall's opinion, to just update the COMP to a DRAG and stack it? Or try to sell it get the TST??? Thanks

it all depends on what your truck likes. there are a lot of people me included that have bigger injectors that make the MOST power with the DRAG comp alone. i have ran all three. smarty, tst comp, and drag comp. i have even ran them in a tripple stack, as far as my truck goes, i make the most power with just the DRAG comp, others have made more power with the TST comp, smarty stack so like i said, it all depends on what your truck likes.

Alright... main thing here is that money is a factor... Im trying to get a lot of power without alot of cost (contradictory i know)... So injectors really aren't in my plans for now

If you update the COMP to a DRAG, can you use the timing levels on the Smarty when you stack them??

No, if you're running the Comp, you'll have to run the Smarty on the even numbered settings with no timing or else you'll end up with too much timing.

So you have a comp and you have a smarty and you haven't tried them stacked? You might like it, especially since you said you didn't want to spend a lot. Even settings on the smarty like Justin said.

I've run the comp and I've run the TST before with and without the smarty on both and while I don't have any dyno figures for the comp/smarty stack, I can say that the TST fueled much harder on mine and made a nice increase in power over just the Comp.

Best driving manners: Comp
Most HP: TST PM3 Comp (when stacked with a timing box or programmer)
Best stacked with Smarty: Depends on truck

I'm gonna have to disagree with ya on that one doug. When I went from a comp to a TST I lost a lot of low end smoke (big plus) and the power came on much smoother than with the comp.

Was it the competition version? Did you stack it with a timing box (EZ or such)? More important did you dyno it to get the results?

Not knocking anyone but without dyno numbers to confirm gain/loss you just can't tell..... Smoke is just that, smoke. Once you get around 400 RWHP noticing a gain of even 50-100 RWHP is tough.

When I talk about driveability I am also talking about the shudder that the TST has..... No way you could drive a load of animals in a trailer with the box turned up. Yet with a comp it would not be a problem.
