Edge comp reliability
I was just reading another post and in it Don M. said he had seen severial of the comp boxes go bad. I'm sure he has seen more of this boxes than I will ever see so is anyone else having problems with these boxes. I just got a drag comp for my wifes truck and sold my tst box and the ez box is pending . Maybe a person should keep the ez around so you doesn't have to pull the injectors if the box goes bad. Am I getting to ansy about this or is this a hidden problem. Is the drag comp less realiable than regular comp box. There is alot of comp and drag comp boxes out there, how many miles have you got out of them and have you had any problems. Thanks,Gary

You stand a better chance of getting hit by lightning than getting a bad box. I don't know about the other guys but Edge stands behind their product 100%. No problems here. Edge Comp. w/ tap 2+ years.
If you're workin' on your 02 I would seriously consider the CaTCHER first. The driveability and low end take off is awesome!

ZAP ME BABEEEEEE!!!!
I win the lottery on lightning strikes...HA HA
Seriously, I went through 3 or 4 box's before I got a good one. Edge took very good care of me but I was seriously getting fatigued.
JB Hale also went through 3 box's to get a good one...Once again Edge was numero uno in customer service.
These were all DRAG Versions with one exeption. JB had a bad comp and didn't know it (nothing to compare it to) until he was able to plug someone elses box in.
We both have good strong programs currently.
If you have big injectors ask them to send you a box and a pickup tag for yours, yes you do have to provide a credit card but they dont charge it if you send them back the other one.

I'm planning on a catcher in the future but I already have all this other stuff. I have a ez on the truck already but my moto is fix it till it is broke. My wife really doesn't care cause she knows I really like to hot rod everything. I just got my full billet trans in tonight so a turbo and exhaust will fill the bill. The drag comp was used about two weeks when the truck was wrecked I bought it off of. Will edge cover any box or just the first owner. Thanks,Gary

As long as the box is under warrenty you should be fine. I had to warrenty mine since they originally set sent me a Comp and called it a Drag Comp. $85 dyno disproved that theory and now I have a Drag Comp. Edge has had reliability problems in the past, but they tend to resolve them promptly.
