edge comp question

I thought I would go ahead and start the hookup of the edge comp while I waited for the pump cover, so I ran the harness, pluged in the map and data conector , changed out the turbo elbow , ran hot wire but did not hook up and mounted the box. Now I have a check engine light?? quess I should of waited. is it safe to drive till I get the cover and finish the install?

Did you disconnect the battery terminals before the install?

Yah it does still boost fool with it turned off just to clarify did you start the truck without the harness plugged into the box that will throw a code you need to have the box plugged into harness if harness is plugged into data port and map sensor otherwise it will throw a code. If that is what you did just plug it in the code will reset itself in due time. After about 10-15 ingnition cycles check engine light will go away. Pm me if you are still having problems

Kyle amd others thanks for the info, I unpluged the map and the code reset no light. I went for a drive and I hit 25 PSI on the boost guage, that little elbow makes that big a differnce?shoot what does the rest of the edge comp do? seems like all I needed was the elbow. My fuel PSI dropped really bad though. is that what the box helps fix with the pump wire tap? man I might be figureing all this out yet.
