Angry edge comp ...doing nothing

I just put a new comp box on my 99 cummins and there is no new power... the box lights up and changes settings, but the power stays the same as stock. I'm not sure if I tapped the correct wire on the pump. The directions I got with it were hard to read[blury]so I couldn't tell which was the right wire. The truck still runs just like stock ,with no problems.

even with the pump wire not tapped...there still should be a huge difference...did you get a box that was compatible with your 99?

Check here for a downloadable set of instructions.

These should be a noticeable kick in the pants with the wire not tapped (The way I'm still running my Comp), and from what has been reported, your eyes rolling back in yer head with the wire tapped.

That's a pretty good description of the feeling you get when the wire is tapped Shovelhead. You should notice a good kick in the rear end with the wire untapped.
