What's hard about drilling and tapping a hole? Can I use regular drill bit

Yep. You just have to have the right size. The big deal about it, the shavings could fall into the turbo, and mess it up.

Some leave the truck running, some shut it off and use grease and a magnet, some drop the turbo off the manifold and tape over the flange.

Oh, yeah, don't drill right in the middle of the collector, drill closer to the back of the manifold. There is a internal support in the middle of the collector.

Sorry about not clarifying that. You have to remove the shavings somehow. I did it by drilling with the engine running at idle. I think I put mine a little in front of the center divider of the manifold.

Yuma: all beach, no ocean....

Yeah, I put those in there when I was still green to diesel performance. Had I known better, I would have put it closer to #6.

If you have a manual trans the temp sencer is harder than the pyro make sure you drill the hole a 1/32 bigger than the 1/8 pipe tap says so the end of the sencer doesn't brake when screwed in like mine did

I thought that there was a couple of tapped plugs on the trans? I know you said a stick, but I still thought there were some in there.
