ECM Photos

Hello guys n girls with the help of a friend I was able to determine the location of the ecm on my truck but was curious as to weather any one had a photo so when I do my exhaust brake tonight makes life easier.

The ECM is a silver box on the drivers side of the engine block... it is a little difficult to see with the head on as the intake plenum obscures your view...

here is a front shot of the engine minus the head of course... on the right side of the block you can see the ECM...it's "behind" the VP44 from the angle. You should see a plug with void sticker that is plugged into the ECM.

Well I just back in the shop 3.5hrs install and I completed with success my first exhaust brake install so on cloud nine I was a little nervous at first but when I got going only too brake a bolt on the back of the turbo I almost quite but went on and realized with the elbow off there was enough of the bolt sticking out that i was able to get it out with channel locks . Only thing I have left is to mount the switch permanently I was beat and hungry when I got every thing done.
