Hi is that the varyable vane one? If so how are you planing to actuate it? Iv'e been wondering if that turbo could be made to work with a Gen2 truck. If you could run it electronicly like its made for that would be cool. I was thinking maybe manual operation closed down for quick spooling when running empty, and opened up for low EGTs when towing grades. Let us know how it works out I for one am very interested.

 

yep it is the variable turbo off the 07.5 and up trucks. There are several threads here and other places of people putting em on older trucks almost all using boost or drive pressure to drive the vains. I to hope to use the electric motor but if was easy i think someone would have done it by now. It should be here the end of next week so i can get some pics up
