Easy 12v Mods???
I just purchased a 1995 12v and I need to get crackin on the cheap & easy mods. This will be a play toy and will never get hooked to a trailer. I just want it to go fast and pull hard. I am only familiar with the 24v VP44 trucks. Thanks
Josh

Grind the fuel plate into a #0, loosen the starwheel, slide the AFC housing forward. That'll get ya started. Get some gauges, advance the timing, and buy a 4k to put in it, and that will help it out a lot too.

Before going too far on HP mods get a good valvebody and tourqe convertor for the tranny. You have to get the HP to the ground for it to be effective. If you do the 4gsk do the valve springs too.
OH BTW check the KDP!!! It may or may not have been taken care of.
