Easiest place to hook up FP gauge?

I am still undecided on were to plumb in the fp line.I guess my options are-schrader valve, bottom of fuel filter canister or tapped banjo.I was planning to go the schrader route. My problem is this, the isolater has a 1/4npt thread hookup on it and then the hose needs to go down to the schrader valve. But I can't seem to find a hose like this. What should I do?I am running a Di/pricol fp gauge. The isolater outlet as previously stated is 1/4npt.Aren't most of them 1/8npt?

I ordered a tapped Banjo bolt from Geno's. That will go on the fuel line at the bottom of the filter. He also has a 18" long hose, that would go directly onto the Schrader, and depress it. But he is out of stock until the 22nd.

New bolt and 2 washers + shipping $10.

I got the tapped banjo from geno's. Tapped into bottom of fuel filter. Installed a shutoff valve and followed with a 1/4 to barb. Got 2ft of hydraulic line(rubber hose 1/4 diesel rated) and put a push lock(barb) to 1/4npt. Ran ss braided into cab to guage. By going off bottom of filter you can double check pressures using shrader valve if needed.

Which ever way you go, you might run into the notorious "buzzing noise" but maybe not, since you are running the isolator. If you do get this buzzing, try re-routing the fp line to another source. This technique has somewhat lessened my buzzing noise.

Yup, a little will leak, hook up the hose and put the other end into a container, hit the lift pump, remove the air, and put it together ASAP. You may have to crank a few turns extra, but works OK.

I'm installing a fP gauge and the instructions say to fill the gauge and isolater with a liquid. So what type of liquid, any ideas ?

Thanks

Most use antifreeze.

The purpose of the isolator is to keep fuel out of the cab.

Filling it with Diesel defeats this purpose.

IMHO, get rid of the isolator, they just fail and leak anyway.
Just make sure the guage can handle Diesel going to it.
