pro comp has a sale right now, buy 3 get one free for this month... it would be close to the same price and you'd get a better tire.

if you have the money...the BFG AT is now e-rated in the 285/75R16 size and that is a very good quality tire but you pay for them at about $200 a piece

You couldn't pay me to put BFG AT's on again. I've ran them on 2 different trucks and the price does not out weigh the quality or lack there of or tread life, horrid in mud snow and ice. Both sets were siped as well.

i used a few set of Pathfinders years ago. seems they had a short life span back then . belts would go bad and you could not drive without shaking. Tread always looked like new.
I am still buying from discount because they have always stood behind everything i bought there.
had a set of Perrellis put on 10 months ago and just had them replaced . went back to the Michlons, best tire i have used yet

I have an extra set of BFG Rugged Terrains mounted and balanced on Factory 17" Chrome 2004 wheels. Tires and wheels have 200 miles on them, and I would sell the set for $725 if someone wants to pick em up, or I will box em up and ship em, but fair warning: The freight will kill ya.
I am in the Denver area.

Nitto terra grappler also just came out with a e-rated 285/75-16. I think ive seen them priced around 160 per tire. At discount tire on the internet. Also have the 305/70 -16 in the e-rating, same height just wider.

CAme with my old Ford IDI..

Not too bad in the ten ply rating, actually better than the BFG's ive had.. (stiffer sidewalls perhaps due to ten plies) Got 45K out of them with no rotation... No complaints about mileage with BFGs, just traction was not all that in the mud. Sand they were great tho..

Tx

At 80K I'm on my third set of tires. Stock it had Michelins, I put a new set on at around 38K. At 78 they were getting down there (4-5 32nds) so I went with Remington E rated Wide Brute RV. First week they were on we went on a 3K road trip. All was well, nice ride, no excessive noise.....thought I'd done ok, until I hooked up the trailer. Pulled the race rig and you could definately notice more sway in the rear of the truck. That was with 75psi, so I upped them to 80. Made them a little better, but I'm going to get Michelins when I need the next set, towing they were much better.

I have them currently on mine... They SUCK is the best way I can put it. I had Goodyear Commercials on there when I bought the truck last year and this spring I had Pathfinders installed (read I'm a tight wad). My problem with them is the sidewalls are weak the truck sort of flops over on the sidewalls even with them air'd up to 80psi on all corners - worse if you air them down any at all. This is even when not towing. Took them back and complained so they swapped them out - still same thing. They make towing a 31ft TT (bumper pull) a load of fun, the fronts flop to the right while the rears flop to the left then vise versa. Trust me save your pennies for a better tire.

I can as I'm rounding a cloverleaf with no load what so ever feel the truck sort of slide/flop as I call it on the tires - no the tread is not slipping it's showing me that the sidewalls are soft as heck. Again bypass these tires... But that is just my opinion... I can't wait until I can afford better tires but "Management" has not released the approval yet so for me I'm stuck in Pathfinder fun until next spring... I'm trying my darnest to burn them off every chance I get so that I can speed up the re-tire project... On the upside they do roll smoke pretty good
